The Hedland Collective is seeking expressions of interest to join the Hedland Collective Steering Committee.
The Hedland Collective is a driving force in the Hedland community, providing strategic direction and leadership. The purpose of the Hedland Collective is to further develop Hedland as a safe, vibrant community which attracts and retains residents and businesses.
Over the next few years, the Hedland Collective is focusing on a series of initiatives. You can read more about the Hedland Collective focus areas and priorities in our roadmap here: https://hedlandcollective.com/pathways/
In recent years, the Hedland Collective has completed key outcomes including:
- Launching StreetNet
- Working with Hedland Senior High School resulting in over 75 Year 11 and 12 students will participate in the School Based Traineeship program in 2021
- Worked with BHP and the Town of Port Hedland to create 82 new childcare places
- Launched the Hedland Community Board
- Launched the Pilbara Family and Domestic Violence network with WACOSS and Newman Futures
- And much more!
If you have a passion, interest, or skill that aligns with the Hedland Collective’s goals we would love to have you as part of the Steering Committee. As a Steering Committee member, you will be responsible for advocacy, strategy development and oversight of coordination and administration.
